To achieve this goal, Starbucks has some clear strategies lined up. These will play a pivotal role in making the company better and more capable of meeting certain standards.

At the top of the list is an agenda that will reduce costs to the tune of $3 billion. The company likewise plans to increase the efficiency of its current operations to maximize gains and customer satisfaction.

Adapting and evolving with the times

In recent years, Starbucks has seen a growing number of customers using online apps (such as Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.) and drive-thrus. This is now leading to an increase in demand for various drinks made faster, hence putting baristas in somewhat of a bind.

To remedy the issue, Starbucks plans to invest in better equipment for preparing these beverages, along with using automation.

That, combined with the company's objective to reduce costs, should pave the way for more Starbucks locations outside of North America to grow and succeed.
