Trump Signals Military Readiness

President Donald Trump said last week that the United States had dispatched a “massive fleet” toward the region, describing the move as a precautionary measure. He emphasized that military action was not inevitable but remained an option.

Trump has repeatedly warned Iran’s leadership over its response to ongoing protests, which erupted in late December and represent one of the most serious challenges to the country’s ruling establishment in years. The president also cautioned Tehran against carrying out mass executions of detained demonstrators.

Iran Issues Strong Response

Over the weekend, Iranian state aligned media reported that Revolutionary Guard commander Gen. Mohammad Pakpour warned the United States and Israel against any miscalculation, saying Iran’s forces were fully prepared to carry out orders.
