The Haunted House History

Located on the picturesque Isle of Wight in southern England, the six-bedroom house owned by the Pittards was a subject of fascination for many, thanks to its dark history and claims of being haunted. At the time of the incident, the homeowners were away on vacation, leaving their property vulnerable to a group of seven children, some as young as 11.

The ensuing court case revealed that these children, although young, admitted to causing criminal damage, leading to a series of fines. To protect their identities, the court refrained from naming them. However, the scale of destruction they unleashed was nothing short of shocking, amounting to an estimated £300,000 ($371,000) worth of damage, as reported by the Island Echo.
