Wagner mercenary group to withdraw from Ukrainian City Due to Ammunition Shortages

The recruitment of prisoners into private armies is particularly concerning, as it raises questions about the legality and morality of using people as cannon fodder. This is especally troubling if Prigozhin is being truthful. And the Wagner soldiers have no guns or ammunition to fight with.

Earlier this week, US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby cited recently declassified intelligence. It says that more than 20,000 Russian soldiers have been killed since December and at least 80,000 wounded while fighting in Ukraine. It is estimated that 50% of those killed were from the Wagner group.
