One Telegram message read:
“So, while in Ukraine, I’ll be able to live a normal life? Even when it’s found out I did it?”
Casap also told his classmate he was in contact with an individual in Russia to plan the government’s overthrow.
Casap has not entered any pleas to the state charges, according to court records. He is scheduled for arraignment on May 7, per the Waukesha County court docket.
CNN reports they reached out to Casap’s attorneys for comment, but no public statement has been made.
