Obesity’s clinical definition is the state of having a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or above. The ideal BMI ranges between 18 and 25.

According to Harvard Medical School professor Dr. Caroline Apovian, the condition of obesity could prevent individuals from being able to feel full. This mental block allegedly maintains even after said individuals have consumed considerable amounts of sugar and fat.
