Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson reportedly ended their romantic relationship in late 2025, bringing an end to a relationship that attracted widespread attention because of their nearly 49-year age difference. Belichick, now 74, and Hudson, 25, reportedly first met in February 2021 aboard a flight from the Boston area to Florida. At the time, Belichick was 68 and Hudson was 19, with a startling age difference of 49 years.

The two reportedly exchanged contact information following their conversation. Hudson later referenced the encounter on social media, marking Feb. 11, 2021, as their meeting anniversary.

Although they met in 2021, reports indicate their romantic relationship began in 2022. They were first publicly spotted together in January 2023 in New Orleans, and their relationship became widely known in June 2024.

Their nearly five-decade age difference quickly became a subject of public discussion, particularly because Belichick had already established himself as one of the most successful coaches in NFL history.

Breakup Reportedly  in Late 2025

According to TMZ, the couple quietly ended their romantic relationship toward the end of 2025. The circumstances surrounding the separation remain unclear, including who initiated the breakup.

People subsequently confirmed the reported separation, noting that the two have maintained a friendship and professional relationship.

The reports also indicated that Hudson has begun seeing other people, although details about her current relationship status have not been fully established.

The reported breakup apparently was not widely known, even among some people connected to Belichick's North Carolina football program. Two individuals inside the UNC football office told USA Today they were unaware that the relationship had ended.

Despite the reported separation, Belichick and Hudson continued to appear together throughout 2026.

Hudson remained a familiar presence at North Carolina football games, supporting Belichick from the sidelines. The two also attended the Kentucky Derby in May, where Hudson shared a photograph of them holding hands.
