In addition to car seizures, Romainian police also took over buildings where the Tate brothers allegedly held women hostage, forcing them to perform sexually for online webcams and pornographic sites.
Some of the specific cars taken by Romanian authorities include a Rolls-Royce Wraith, Bugatti Chiron, Aston Martin Vanquish S Ultimate, etc.
Not Tate’s first arrest
The December 2022 arrest of Andrew Tate is not an outlier, nor it is Tate’s first time being tied to human trafficking. Earlier last year, authorities were also investigating Tate for possible connections to human trafficking; last month’s arrest merely stems from this investigation.
However, many people are not aware that back in 2015, authorities in the United Kingdom arrested Tate on claims of rape and physical abuse. This arrest happened when Tate and his brother operated a web cam business on the backs of women.
Coincidentially, Tate, on video, has bragged about moving to Romania because of what he deemed to be loose laws on sexual assault. Tate, by his own admission, also believes access to corruption is more attainable in Romania.
