According to witnesses the blanket seen in the photo and found at the scene was used by Flores and Rodriquez for their dog.
The suspect fought with Rodriquez
The family member said that Flores “frequently shoots his gun” and often fought with Rodriguez.
Neighborhood witnesses told police Flores had chased Rodriguez down the street during a fight on the night she was allegedly murdered. And weeks before she died her boyfriend had physically assaulted her.
According to the arrest affidavit, during his police interview Flores “showed no emotion and seemed indifferent” about his girlfriend’s death.
Flores is being held in the Dallas County Jail while all the forensic evidence is being reviewed. And was charged with murder on January 21.
