While the 2024 presidential election is still a ways off, there are growing numbers of discussions about who will or will not run.
Earlier this week, word broke that Biden apparently confirmed his 2024 plans to former President Obama. Biden’s interest in running appears largely driven by the likely possibility that former President Trump will run again.
Other names that have come up as possible 2024 contenders are current Vice President Kamala Harris, former Vice President Mike Pence, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, etc.
However, failed Democratic presidential contender Bernie Sanders is one of the newest names to come up.
The Vermont senator will be 83-years-old by the time 2024 arrives; although, he’s still not ruling out the possibility of running for the White House again.

Multiple sources have confirmed that a memo from one of Sanders’ political aides expresses his openness to another crack at the Oval Office.
The leaked memo also points out Sanders’ interest in a presidential run could come to fruition if Biden doesn’t follow through on his plans to seek re-election.
