Americans on both the left and the right regularly hit the former mayor for attempting to buy the 2020 election. This censure comes as Bloomberg dumps hundreds of millions of dollars into ads to boost his campaign.
The 2020 Democrat’s decision to self-fund his candidacy is only the tip of the iceberg though. In recent weeks, Americans learned of Bloomberg’s decision to pay online influencers to boost his campaign. Shortly thereafter, Twitter announced their move to suspend spam accounts which promoted the same links and hashtags in support of Bloomberg’s candidacy.
