Truthfully, telling people to take buses, stop eating meat, etc., couldn’t have come at a worse time. It’s eerily similar to rhetoric from the White House.
The Biden administration has been stating that people who are not pleased with high gas prices (also a consequence of inflation) should consider purchasing electric vehicles to drive.
Meanwhile, Americans have pushed back against this advice. If people are already struggling to afford gas and other necessities, they certainly don’t have tens of thousands of dollars to spend on electric vehicles.
Unfortunately, if Democrats manage to pass the current COVID spending bill they’re working on, inflation will get even more out of control.
