Scheffler is scheduled to appear at his arraignment on June 3, which was postponed from its original date of May 21 to accommodate his presence, as confirmed by his attorney. Despite the legal challenges, Scheffler competed in the Charles Schwab Challenge, finishing tied for second, and is expected to participate in the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio, starting June 6.
Grayson Murray’s Passing
Adding to the emotional weight of the week, Scheffler addressed the recent death of fellow golfer Grayson Murray. “Obviously, the news hasn’t really sunk in quite yet, but I’m thinking about his family and praying hard for all of them,” Scheffler said. He reflected on his growing friendship with Murray over the past six months and expressed his profound sadness over the loss.
The golfer and his wife welcomed son Bennett on May 8.
Scheffler has a very busy schedule and is expected to compete in the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio, with the first round beginning on June 6.
