CBS News has finally relinquished the confidential files of fired investigative reporter Catherine Herridge. This development comes following intense pressure from the House Judiciary Committee and Herridge’s union representatives.
Herridge was investigating the Biden family and the Hunter Biden laptop scandal when she was unexpectedly terminated.
Two weeks ago, Herridge was abruptly dismissed as part of a wave of layoffs orchestrated by Paramount Global. She was one of only 20 CBS layoffs. But a total of 800 people were let go from the parent company.
