In a jaw-dropping turn of events, a former longtime assistant to Ghislaine Maxwell, Johanna Sjoberg, testified under oath that Jeffrey Epstein claimed former President Bill Clinton "likes them young, referring to girls." The 40 documents unsealed late Wednesday not only mentioned Clinton but also implicated Prince Andrew, Alan Dershowitz, and magician David Copperfield, among others.

No Legal Allegations Against Clinton

Despite the sensational claims, the unsealed documents make no legal allegations against Clinton. However, they raise perplexing questions about the high-profile individuals associated with Epstein and Maxwell.

Johanna Sjoberg, an assistant and alleged masseuse who worked for Maxwell from 2001 to 2005, delivered a bombshell revelation during her deposition. Sjoberg testified that Epstein once asserted Clinton's preference for young girls. While both Maxwell and Sjoberg confirmed Clinton's connection to Epstein and Maxwell, they disagreed on specific details.

The documents also mention other notable figures, including Prince Andrew, Alan Dershowitz, David Copperfield, Bill Richardson, Glenn Dubin, Jean-Luc Brunel, Marvin Minsky, and Les Wexner. Some references come from deposition testimony given by plaintiff Virginia Giuffre, who sued Maxwell for defamation related to her claims about sex trafficking.

Dershowitz's Denial and Prince Andrew's Settlement

The documents include previously reported claims against lawyer Alan Dershowitz, who denies any wrongdoing. Prince Andrew settled with Giuffre and maintains his innocence. Other personalities mentioned, including Richardson, Minsky, and Brunel, are no longer alive.

Giuffre's Deposition: A Key Source

Virginia Giuffre's deposition, frequently cited in the documents, alleges Maxwell directed her to give erotic massages to various prominent figures, including Prince Andrew, Richardson, Dubin, Brunel, and Minsky.

The unsealed documents reveal a legal battle to depose Clinton. Plaintiffs argued that Clinton's close relationship with Epstein and Maxwell could provide crucial information, although it remains unclear if they ultimately secured court approval.

Maxwell's Legal Strategy

Maxwell's legal team portrayed Giuffre as a persistent liar, challenging her claims about interactions with Clinton and others. The documents also cite a report by former FBI Director Louis Freeh, concluding that Clinton did not visit Epstein's island during a specific timeframe.

Maxwell's Conviction and Ongoing Appeals

Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted in 2022 for aiding Epstein, is appealing her 20-year prison sentence. She seeks to vacate all counts or order a new trial, with oral arguments tentatively set for March.
