DA Fani Willis Remains on Trump Prosecution, Nathan Wade forced to Resign

In a legal saga filled with intrigue and controversy, Judge Scott McAfee’s recent ruling in Georgia has thrust DA Fani Willis into the spotlight. Although he is allowing her to continue leading the prosecution of Donald Trump there will be ongoing issues.

However, the ruling comes with a twist as Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade, central to the case, has been mandated to step down immediately.

The case revolves around allegations of Trump’s attempts to undermine the 2020 presidential election in the state. 

Michael Roman, one of the 14 defendants in the case, filed a motion in January saying Willis should be disqualified because of her romantic relationship with Wade, which represented both a conflict of interest and a breach of ethics.
