Despite President Biden’s assertions that he’s “outperforming,” the polls tell otherwise. 33% of Americans approve of the job he’s doing. Meanwhile, pluralities of US voters don’t want Biden seeking a second term.

Amidst all this, 29 House Democrats are stepping down from office. Some are entering retirement altogether; others are running for different positions, such as mayor, senator, governor, etc.

Another factor working against Democrats in these upcoming midterms is Biden’s low approval ratings in states like Georgia, Michigan, etc. that will matter in November.

Republicans on the impending midterms

In strong contrast against Democrats, Republicans are very much confident in their ability to win these elections. In many parts of the country, redistricting also favors Republicans.

Moreover, the GOP is in a strong position to reach voters, point out the failures of leftist leadership, and explain why electing conservatives is the right alternative.

The National Republican Congressional Committee has even weighed in on the many problems Democrats are facing ahead of November.
