On Friday, Ferndale-based Eight Mile Style, the publisher behind Eminem’s most celebrated tracks, filed a blockbuster lawsuit accusing Meta of systematically allowing the unauthorized use of 243 of the rapper’s compositions across its platforms.

“Meta’s years-long and ongoing infringement … is another case of a trillion-dollar company exploiting the creative efforts of musical artists,” Eight Mile Style alleges in its complaint.
