Additionally, Zuckerberg said, “It’s not enough to just connect people. We have to make sure that those connections are positive. It is not enough to just give people a voice. We need to make sure that people aren’t using it to harm other people or to spread misinformation. It is not enough to give people control over their information. We need to make sure that the developers they shared with protect their information too.”
Furthermore, the young tech tycoon emphasized that his company has a “responsibility not just to build tools but to make sure that they are used for good.” He said it will take some time for Facebook to make the necessary changes but he is commitment to correct the company’s failures.
