According to Gleicher, civil society in the Philippines and Rappler reported the activities of the government propaganda network, which is posting content about domestic politics, military activities against terrorism, the pending anti-terrorism bill, and criticism of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) and its military wing, the New People’s Army.
Facebook found that the network is linked to the Philippine military and police. It spent $1,100 for ads on Facebook paid for in Philippine peso.
