Recently, Gov. Scott proposed a $30 million investment for state law enforcement agencies. The funding will support salary increases for state law enforcement and correctional officers, recruitment and retention of officers. The proposal is part of the budget for the current year.
The governor will release his budget proposal for the entire 2018 to 2019 before the beginning of the upcoming legislative session.
