A new look at the 28-year-old crime showed links between Brooks and Golubski.
The former detective’s attorney Chris Joseph said to local news KCUR that, “Roger maintains his innocence and looks forward to clearing his name from these decades-old and uncorroborated allegations.”
All four men are charged in the indictment. If convicted, they face life imprisonment. Brooks is now in a federal prison in Fort Worth, Texas. The whereabouts of the other two men are unknown.
