According to the filing, Goldsmiths began selling 88-facet diamond jewelry under the “Goldsmiths Brightest Diamond” brand in 2019 without Cohen’s approval, infringing both his copyright and registered design (U.K. number 6065216). Cohen is seeking an injunction to halt sales and potential damages for the alleged infringement.
Representatives for both parties did not immediately comment. Cohen is represented by Tom Moody-Stuart KC and Maxwell Keay of 8 New Square, instructed by Ben Rose of Acumen Law Ltd., while Watches of Switzerland is represented by Sipara Ltd.
