Gov. Wolf Approves Five Fuel Saving Projects for Pennsylvania Schools

Vehicle Projects category

  • The Derry Township School District Propane School Bus Conversion Project. The school district is seeking $14,084 funding to help offset the cost of the purchase of four buses that will run in propane fuel.
  • Ride the Green Bus at Greensburg Salem School District—DMJ Transportation is requesting $74,400 funding to acquire 24 74-seater passenger propane buses.
  • Camp Hill CNG Conversion Initiative— WW Transport is seeking $140,000 funding to buy seven vehicles for its fleet to run CNG. It will utilize Mobile Fueling Solutions’ delivery service to fuel its vehicles at Camp Hill.

Refueling infrastructure projects category

  • Trillium CNG Lancaster Station— Trillium Transportation Fuels, LLC is asking $500,000. It will use the money to build a public access CNG fueling station at 202 Greenfield Road in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
  • Valley Waste Service- Public and Fleet CNG Fueling Station— Valley West Service Inc is requesting $400,000. The company needs funding to construct an on-site CNG fueling station to provide fleet vehicles access to CNG fueling at their home location. Valley West service will make the station available to the general public.
