Earlier today, the Florida governor expressed optimism in his ability to win the state’s caucus. Per DeSantis, his record of delivering on issues that matter to GOP voters will carry sway when it counts the most.

Haley also believes she can bring home a win in Iowa come January. In referencing a poll showing her beating Biden by 17%, the former South Carolina governor stated Republicans need more “landslide” victories.

It is with a landslide, according to Haley, that the GOP can deliver solutions on the southern border, economy, and children’s education.

More to come in Iowa

On Wednesday, January 10, CNN will host a debate in Des Moines, giving Haley, DeSantis, and other qualifying Republican contenders the stage to make their cases. In announcing this, CNN detailed the event as a vital mechanism that allows voters to consider the alternatives to another four years of having Biden in office.

Following the announcement, DeSantis confirmed he’ll attend the debate. While Haley has yet to commit to being there, other Republican contenders like Chris Christie and Vivek Ramaswamy appear unlikely to meet the necessary qualifications to appear on stage.
