In Denver, on Thursday a box of 24 human heads was stolen. The heads were taken from a truck owned by Scientific Care. And were allegedly intended for scientific research and medical study.

Sources told KDVR/KWGN that the heads were in a blue and white box with Science Care marked on the sides. And the box measured 20 x 15 x 18 inches.

It is unknown where the human heads came from or what their destination was intended to be.

Science Care is a “body donation to science program that helps future generations through improved scientific research and education,” according to its website.

According to local news sources. The theft took place in broad daylight. And they also took a dolly cart used to haul off the box of human remains.

This is a residential family-oriented area. A dog park is within view of where the truck was parked at the time the human heads were hauled off.

A local 3-year resident, Isaac Fields, commented on the theft. Fields takes his dog, Margot, to the dog park almost every day.
