Earlier today, First Daughter Ivanka Trump made headlines when the world learned she filled in for her father during a meeting at the G-20 Summit. According to reports from ABC News, the President was forced to depart in order to handle another situation, so Ivanka took his seat in Hamburg, Germany.

Photographs of such have rapidly surfaced the internet, especially on social media. Many people have not hesistated to weigh in and provide their opinions. Why are liberal feminists not praising the successful and accomplished Ivanka Trump? Doesn't the paragon of their movement revolve around women in power? Unfortunately, to feminists, this only applies to left wing women who oppose President Trump.

When the media asked the White House about Ivanka's position, an official gave the following statement: "Ivanka was sitting in the back and then briefly joined the main table when the president had to step out and the president of the World Bank started talking as the topic involved areas such as African development, areas that will benefit from the facility just announced by the World Bank."

The eldest First Daughter has been a prominent and influential force within the Trump White House administration. Not only is Ivanka a passionate advocate for women entrepreneurs, but according to the Washington Post, she also champions important causes such as paid family leave, workforce training, and monetary empowerment for women. President Trump praised his daughter for being a "champion."

Images online have shown Ivanka sitting between the Chinese President Xi Jinping and British Prime Minister Theresa May, as stated by Bloomberg. German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Recip Tayyip Erdogan from Turkey were also seated nearby. Apparently, the First Daughter has silently filled in for her father twice today. This particular meeting covered important details regarding African migration and health.

Women across America should be praising the First Daughter for having such a monumentially influential and distinguished impact in the White House and abroad. Throughout the 2016 election, people talked about the importance of women in power. This sentiment should not only apply to liberal, left wing women. If American culture is going to broadcast the significance of women in authority, that should apply to women across the political aisle. It should be mutually exclusive from partisianship and party affliations.
