Kash Patel Just Said Arrests Are ‘Coming Soon’ And If That’s True A Lot of Powerful People Might Be Watching The Door

{By Samuel A. López | USA Herald} – When the sitting Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation goes on national television and says arrests are coming soon, you don’t ignore it—you stop and ask one question:

Who exactly is he talking about?

That’s where things just got real.

In a high-stakes interview with Maria Bartiromo, FBI Director Kash Patel didn’t hedge, didn’t soften it, didn’t leave room for interpretation. He said his team has the evidence, that the case is built, and that the United States Department of Justice is actively working toward charges tied to what he described as a coordinated effort to undermine Donald Trump and the 2020 election.

He also made something else crystal clear—James Comey is not the only one.

Now, if you’re looking at this from a legal and investigative standpoint, you don’t jump to conclusions—you go to the record. You look at who has already been publicly accused, by name, by Trump himself, over the past several years. Because if Patel is serious—and that’s a big “if” that will ultimately be tested in court—those prior accusations start to matter again in a very different way.

Here’s the list that’s been sitting in plain sight, along with what Trump has publicly claimed about each of them:

Barack Obama — Trump has suggested that Obama-era intelligence and surveillance decisions helped lay the groundwork for what he calls a politically motivated effort to undermine his presidency, particularly tied to early investigations into his campaign.

Joe Biden — Trump has repeatedly claimed Biden benefited from and was part of a system that allowed illegal voting practices, including allegations of ballot harvesting, non-citizen voting, and coordinated election irregularities.

Kamala Harris — Trump has tied Harris to broader Democratic Party efforts that he claims pushed expanded mail-in voting policies and legal frameworks that, in his view, opened the door to election manipulation.

George Soros — Trump has long alleged that Soros funded progressive election infrastructure and local prosecutor networks in ways that influenced election outcomes and enforcement decisions.

Adam Schiff — Trump has accused Schiff of promoting what he calls false narratives about election integrity and Russia-related claims, framing it as part of a broader effort to delegitimize his presidency.

Mike Pence — Trump has openly criticized Pence for refusing to block or delay certification of the electoral vote, arguing that he had the authority to intervene and failed to act.

James Comey — Trump has accused Comey of weaponizing the FBI through investigative decisions he claims were politically biased, particularly in relation to the Russia probe and subsequent actions.

Christopher Krebs — Trump fired Krebs after Krebs publicly declared the 2020 election “the most secure in U.S. history,” a statement Trump has repeatedly challenged as false and misleading.

Marc Elias — Trump has identified Elias as a key legal architect behind changes to voting rules, particularly mail-in ballot procedures, which Trump argues weakened election safeguards.

Mark Zuckerberg — Trump has accused Zuckerberg of influencing election administration through roughly $400 million in funding to local election offices and alleges that Meta platforms suppressed pro-Trump content during the election cycle.

Nicolás Maduro — Trump and some of his allies have suggested that foreign election technology or influence, including Venezuela-linked systems, played a role in alleged vote manipulation.

Dominion Voting Systems — Trump has claimed Dominion machines were capable of switching votes.

Smartmatic — Similar to Dominion, Smartmatic has been accused by Trump allies of involvement in vote tabulation issues, strongly denied by the company.

Beyond individuals and companies, Trump has broadly pointed to what he calls the “deep state”—elements within federal agencies including the FBI and DOJ—alleging they either failed to investigate election irregularities or actively worked against him.

Now here’s the part where reality has to stay grounded.

These are allegations—many of them contested, some of them litigated, and others never proven in court. That matters. In a courtroom, evidence—not rhetoric—decides outcomes. And the burden of proof in a criminal case is as high as it gets.

But Patel’s statement changes the temperature.

Because when the FBI Director says, on the record, “we’ve got all the evidence” and “arrests are coming soon,” that suggests investigators believe they can meet that burden—at least for someone.

Whether that “someone” includes any of the names above is a question that, as of right now, remains unanswered.

And that’s where the tension sits.

If arrests come and they’re limited, targeted, and backed by clear evidence, this becomes a story about accountability within defined boundaries. If they don’t materialize, or fail in court, the consequences could hit just as hard—raising serious questions about credibility, institutional trust, and the politicization of federal power.

Either way, this is no longer just talk.

It’s a live federal situation, unfolding in real time, with the potential to reach into the highest levels of government, media, and private industry.

And if Patel is right, the next move isn’t going to be a press conference.

It’s going to be handcuffs.
