Multiple sources confirm that lawsuits are coming down the pipeline.
This litigation will specifically name the CFP selection committee. As the Seminoles were cheated to such an egregious extent, the lawsuits in question will also push for financial damages and ultimately seek an injunction until this matter is legally settled.
At the end of the day, it simply doesn’t make sense for the undefeated Seminoles to lose out on CFP admission while teams they’ve bested (Alabama Crimson Tide and Texas Longhorn) get the red carpet rolled out.
Someone needs to answer for this
The CFP selection committee has responded to backlash by arguing they have discretion and take the availability of all team players into account when deciding upon admissions.
Though to many in the sports world, this claim seems more like a bad cover story to conceal a nefarious agenda.
Did someone intentionally pay to have the Seminoles robbed of their rightful place in the CFP? Did other football teams make backdoor deals or agree to a quid-pro-quo at the Seminoles’ expense?
