This poll revealed that only 29% of the American public believes Biden will actually run for another tenure as president. Meanwhile, 52% of the country feels the president won’t actually go through with his run for re-election.
Just 19% told the Wall Street Journal they weren’t sure about what Biden would do in 2024.
Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal maintains that private sources close to Biden note his indecisiveness about seeking another term. Apparently, the midterm elections in November will serve as a huge factor for whether Biden runs again.
Little to base a campaign on
When Biden ran for president in 2020, the basis of his campaign was a vow to “restore the soul” of the United States.
However, since Biden’s gotten into office, few Americans can agree his presidency is restoring the nation’s soul.
Some of the key points of Biden’s presidency are as follows:
- Costing 13 servicemembers their lives and allowing the Taliban to regain power in Afghanistan
- Failing to stop Putin from invading Ukraine
- Attempting to pass nationwide COVID vaccine mandates that would later be overturned by the Supreme Court
- Record highs of inflation
- Record highs of gas prices
The list could go on and on.
