In an unfortunate incident, a man tragically lost his life after he plunged from the renowned Grand Canyon West Skywalk. This man, a 33-year-old whose identity has yet to be disclosed, was on the popular tourist spot when he tumbled over the edge, plummeting more than 4,000 feet towards the Colorado River below.

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office, Arizona, confirmed that the incident occurred around 9 a.m. on June 5.

The distressing scene was attended by two short-haul technicians, specialized in rope rescues, who arrived onboard a Kingman DPS Ranger helicopter.

Investigation Underway in the Wake of Tragic Event

Following the tragic event, where the man fell at the Grand Canyon, local authorities launched an investigation to unravel the circumstances that led to the fall.

The man's body was retrieved and taken to the Hualapai Nation. Speculations over whether this was a chilling accident or an instance of foul play are rife, but no concrete conclusions have been drawn yet.

His family has not made any statement at this time.
