More Than 25% of Americans Don’t Intend on Getting COVID Vaccine

More than one in four Americans confirmed to Economist/YouGov that they are not planning to get the jab. Moreover, overwhelming percentages of the unvaccinated rejected proposed hypothetical incentives designed to increase vaccination rates.

Only 9% of people without the COVID vaccine are unsure about whether they plan to get the shot. If this doesn’t reveal the writing on the wall, nothing else will.

The big irony

Democrat politicians and health officials are declaring that the time for COVID vaccination being voluntary must end. NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio said precisely this in announcing the bans against the unvaccinated.

However, this is precisely the attitude that engenders and deepens so-called “vaccine hesitancy” amongst individuals. Many people don’t appreciate feeling bullied. When health officials like Leana Wen openly promote the bullying and “othering” of the unvaccinated, it doesn’t engender trust.

Right now, the reality of the COVID vaccine is very clear. Most people who want the vaccine are either partially or completely inoculated. Likewise, most people who do not want the jab remain unvaccinated.
