U.S. officials are also getting the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. The highest-profile recipient of the inoculation will soon be Vice President Mike Pence as announced on Wednesday by the White House. Pence and first lady Karen Pence will publicly receive the vaccine on a ‘promotion campaign’ to prove its efficacy and safety. Surgeon General Jerome Adams is also said to follow the same line at the White House later.
