Perdue and Loeffler’s support for the $2,000 stimulus checks is rooted in the interest of providing relief to Americans. During a Fox & Friends interview, Loeffler explained that she is “proud” to stand with President Trump and support his efforts to get American families the relief they need.

This morning, Perdue also took to Twitter, affirming his agreement with Trump’s calls for $2,000 stimulus checks. Like Loeffler, Perdue stated that these stimulus payments will grant “direct relief” to families across the country.
Standing with President Trump
Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler have consistently stood with President Trump. Earlier this week, both Georgia Republicans lauded Trump for signing the congressional COVID-19 relief bill.
This relief will deliver assistance to families, businesses, and hospitals; likewise, funding will also be provided to assist with eviction bans and the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine. Perdue and Loeffler furthermore voted for the stimulus package that the president ultimately signed on Sunday.
