Christine Lepera of Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp, representing Hall was arguing for the efficiency of putting the sale on hold until the arbitrator could weigh in. In opposition, Oates’ attorney Derek Crownover from Loeb & Loeb LLP, claimed that no additional injunction was necessary. And said that Hall was “not entitled to any relief at all.”

The legal drama escalated with Hall saying he was “blindsided” by the Primary Wave deal. He also characterized it as the “ultimate partnership betrayal.”

Lawsuit Update

Oates expressed being “tremendously disappointed” by Hall’s “inflammatory, outlandish, and inaccurate statements.” Oates vehemently denied breaching their agreement and emphasized that Hall’s accusations were untrue.
