It is almost as though Republican leaders do not truly want to repeal or replace Obamacare. Are they benefiting from it somehow? Are they being controlled by puppeteers who are paying them not to do away with the disastrous healthcare bill? It is certainly worth considering. President Trump has made his willingness to repeal and replace Obamacare more than apparent. All of a sudden, Republicans are unable to secure the votes, but when they worked under a President who they knew would never allow the ACA to be repealed, they were able to secure the votes multiple times. Something is very wrong with that picture.
In light of Republicans senators’ inability to secure votes needed to repeal and replace Obamacare, President Trump, Vice President Pence, and others have suggested that the GOP simply repeal Obamacare and replace later. However, even this does not seem to be feasible. The Hill reports that centrist Republicans are not willing to simply repeal Obamacare, for unknown reasons.
It may be wise for President Trump to launch an investigation into the members of the House and the Senate. Their inability and unwillingness to repeal and replace a bill that they whined about for nearly a decade could be an underlying symptom of a greater issue. Are they being controlled or blackmailed by a person or group operating behind the scenes? It is worth looking into.
