“Each bus is stocked with food and water and makes stops along the trip to refuel and switch drivers,” Mahaleris added. “Migrants are allowed to purchase any needed provisions or disembark at any of these stops. Instead of complaining about Texas providing much-needed relief to our overrun and overwhelmed border communities, Mayor Bass needs to call on President Biden to step up and do his job to secure the border—something he continues failing to do.”

Governor Abbott has emphasized that the migrants are being sent to “sanctuary cities.” And he is only taking LA at their word.

He redirected criticism towards Biden’s policies blaming it for the unprecedented influx of migrants into Texas border towns.

The strained relationship between Texas and Democratic-led cities continues. The state faces record numbers of immigrants from every country in the world pouring across the Southern border.

To date, Texas has transported over 30,000 migrants to various sanctuary cities across the United States.
