Within the past few weeks, the presidential campaign of Bernie Sanders has taken a significant turn for the worst.
Thus far, at least seven former 2020 hopefuls have endorsed Biden. The former vice president’s state victories and securement of delegates also comes at the expense of momentum that Sanders previously branded as “unstoppable.”
Despite the hits that his candidacy is taking, the Democratic-socialist hasn’t thrown in the towel yet. As a matter of fact, Sanders is taking the fight directly to the Democrat establishment.
Just yesterday, Sanders went after the establishment and strongly implied that he knows more about what it takes to win than they do.
A Closer Look at Sanders’ Message to the Democrat Establishment
Following an unsuccessful outcome on Tuesday night’s elections, Sanders declined to immediately address his supporters. Instead, he waited until Wednesday to share his statements with supporters, the nation, and the Democrat establishment.
While in Burlington, Vermont, the 2020 Democrat unloaded; according to Sanders, he has the ability to appeal to a multigenerational coalition of voters. This is something that the Vermont senator inferred is missing on the ends of Biden and the establishment behind him.
