While President Biden’s staff is subject to routine drug tests, visitors to the White House, including those on exclusive West Wing tours, are not.

The repeated incidents of drugs being found on the White House premises during the Biden administration have led to questions about the individuals granted access to the property and their intentions.

Several Republican lawmakers, including Representative Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, have criticized the investigation, labeling it a “farce.”

They argue that with 24/7 surveillance and security measures in place, it should be possible to identify the person responsible for delivering the cocaine.

The lack of security measures to detect substances like cocaine, marijuana (which has been found twice previously), or even potentially dangerous substances like anthrax, has raised further concerns.
