“We’ve taken control of critical Aeroflot systems,” the hackers said, “including terabytes of internal data. What we couldn’t take—we destroyed.”
Screenshots shared by the group reportedly show access to Aeroflot’s internal user directories and file storage systems. Russian prosecutors later confirmed the attack and stated a criminal investigation is underway.

Silent Crow: A Rising Cyber Threat
This isn’t Silent Crow’s first operation. In January 2025, the group took credit for hacking Russia’s Federal Service for State Registration (Rosreestr). Using an anonymous Telegram channel, Silent Crow posted leaked data including names, addresses, birthdates, and national ID numbers of nearly 90,000 Russian citizens from the Unified State Register of Real Estate.
“Rosreestr has become a vivid example of how large state structures can fall in just a few days,” Silent Crow stated in a January 6 post. “Their supposedly well-protected data has joined our collection.”
