On Friday morning, San Francisco police executed a search warrant on Momeni’s sister’s apartment.
Momeni remains in custody without bond.

There has been increased violence and murders in San Francisco. And Lee’s death has received significantly more attention in the news and on social media than most crimes.
Residents of the city have been shocked by the ever-increasing rate of homelessness in the area. With drug paraphernalia and waste littering the streets businesses are closing their doors. And locals are alarmed at the increase in violent crimes.
Recently large groups of young people were seen in a violent brawl at Stonestown. The violent crime wave also resulted in the abrupt closure of a Whole Foods store in mid-market. And that leaves only eight others within the San Francisco city limits.
Mayor London Breed said that the press reports are lumping Lee’s stabbing with other incidents of violence seen under her administration.
‘When the facts of many of these cases come out, many people are going to be surprised,’ she added.
