“That’s an advantage for the defense,” Baldwin said. “While the testimony is unlikely to be exactly the same here, I do think it offers up an ability to see how that witness did and where you can poke holes.”
W
itnesses will include the former CEO of Full Play, Alejandro Burzaco, Santiago Peña. The defense is not looking forward to Burzaco to testify, as he was a great witness for the prosecution in 2017 for testifying that the defendants paid a total of $160 million in bribes.
The case is USA v. Webb et al., case number 1:15-cr-00252, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
