President Donald Trump is in campaign form and is encouraging voters in Georgia to get out and vote in the Senate runoff election to keep Republicans in control of the United States Senate.

The president appeared at a rally in Valdosta, Georgia on Saturday and encouraged voters to vote for Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler as he also insisted that the presidential was robbed from him.

"There's never been a case where a state has had this prominence on senate races. Never together, and this is something that's very important and you have to get out and you have to vote," he said. "If you don't vote, the socialists and the communists win."

As the president encouraged Georgia Republicans to vote in the runoff election on Jan. 5, he continued to say that he was the victim of a "rigged" election. It sounded, for a moment, that he admitted that Biden won before he corrected himself.

"Let me tell you this election was rigged and we can't let it happen to two of the greatest most respected people in Washington," he said as the crowd chanted "Stop the steal" from the crowd. The Democrats "cheated and they rigged our presidential election. But we will still win it,” he said.

The idea that Republicans in Georgia should boycott the Senate race has been pushed by independent attorney Lin Wood.

“We do NOT need to vote for @KLoeffler & @sendavidperdue in rigged runoff to control Senate,” he  tweeted on Saturday to his nearly 730,000 followers even after the president told him to "knock it off” in a private phone call.

The president, on Saturday, told his supporters loud and clear that he wants them to vote in the election and does not want them to listen to Wood.

"Friends of mine say we are not going to vote because we are angry about the presidential election," he said. "Don't listen to my friends."

First Lady Melania Trump even started the rally by telling Georgia Republicans that it’s extremely for them “that you exercise your rights as a citizen and vote.”

"The voters of Georgia will determine which party runs every committee, writes every piece of legislation, controls every single taxpayer dollar," the president said. "Very simply, you will decide whether your children will grow up in a socialist country or whether they will grow up in a free country."

The president is correct. If Georgians want to keep socialism away from their state and this nation it is in their, and our, interest that they vote for Sens. Perdue and Loeffler.
