Former president Donald Trump, along with his attorney Alina Habba, are vehemently criticizing the recent decision in his New York civil fraud trial. Habba, labeled it a “politically fueled witch hunt” aimed at taking Trump down.
The ruling, issued by Judge Arthur Engoron, mandates Trump and his real estate empire pay a nearly $464 million for fraudulent business practices.
Habba said Trump will definitely appeal the decision.
“We trust that the Appellate Division will overturn this egregious verdict and end this relentless persecution against my clients,” Habba posted on X.
