Gabbard furthermore took aim at both positions on impeachment. The 2020 Democrat called “blind loyalties” to Trump and the lack of “legitimate oversight” of the right-wing. Shortly thereafter, Gabbard criticized the language of Democrats and the lack of impartiality of the impeachment process.
“On the Democratic side, you see such extreme language being used, basically accusing the president of treason without actually saying the word and tainting, therefore, any possibility of a truly impartial, fact-finding inquiry.”
Will Pelosi Ever Hand Over the Articles?
Right now, there is no telling whether or not the House Speaker will ever turn over impeachment articles to the Senate.
GOP senators maintain their censure of Pelosi, stating that if they don’t soon receive the articles, they’ll simply move on to other matters.
