Now you can create amazing images from your own text prompts. Microsoft unveiled   Bing's Image Creator powered by OpenAI's DALL-E.

This in-browser AI-based system allows you to unleash your own creativity. And generate a wide range of images with just a few clicks.

What is DALL-E?

This is a cutting-edge "neural network." Neural networks are artificial systems inspired by human biological neural networks.

DALL-E uses speech or text prompts to generate images. It is based on the GPT-3 language model, which is a breakthrough open-source AI program.

With DALL-E, you can simply enter a word, phrase, or description of an image, and the system will generate images that closely match your prompt.

How to use the Bing Image Creator

Using Bing's Image Creator is easy to use. All you need is a Microsoft account and a browser.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use it. And explore its features, limitations, and potential for artistic expression. 

1. Access Bing's Image Creator website. And enter a prompt in the text box or click the "Surprise Me" button to get a surprise image.

2. Click the "Create" button to start the image generation process.

3. Wait for around 10-20 seconds for the images to be generated.

Once the images are generated, you can click on any of them to get a shareable link. You can save them to an online collection. And download them to your device.

You can also provide feedback on the images you generated. 

Understanding Boosts

Boosts are the main currency which are used to power Bing's Image Creator. And to generate images, with little to no wait time. Each user starts with 25 boosts per week. And if you run out, you can buy more using Microsoft Rewards points. 

However, when you are out of boosts, you will have to wait for image generation. Wait time can range from a few seconds to a few hours, depending on the server load. 

You can also get five extra boosts for 500 Microsoft points, which are earned by completing tasks. One boost is worth 50 cents.

What can DALL-E do?

Bing's Image Creator is capable of generating a wide range of artwork, including photo-realistic images, pixel art, paintings, drawings, and cartoon-like depictions.

With relative accuracy, it can recreate images of locations, buildings, architecture, interior design styles, public figures, and famous art.

 It's important to note that the system has some limitations. It cannot generate anything overtly sexual, violent, or terroristic. And it will not encourage self-harm. Microsoft's content policy prohibits these types of content.
