Snyder later released an extended version of the movie, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which had an expanded role for Fisher’s Cyborg.
This week Fisher tweeted out the good news in all caps, “RELEASE THE HYPE ENGINE!!! WE’RE BACK LIKE WE NEVER LEFT LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!”
Snyder announced the Rebel Moon cast on Twitter.

Fisher, Sons of Anarchy’s Charlie Hunnam, Marvel (and Worlds of DC) hero Djimon Hounsou, and Sense8’s Doona Bae are all excited about joining the cast.
And Sofia Boutella, Jena Malone, Staz Nair, E. Duffy, Charlotte Maggi, and Sky Yang are all cast.
The planet-hopping adventure began as an Akira Kurosawa-inspired script reminiscent of Star Wars. It is set in a remote part of the galaxy where a peaceful colony must fight the army of evil Balisarius in order to survive.
The colony sends out a mysterious woman to find champions on neighboring planets.
“This is me growing up as an Akira Kurosawa fan, a Star Wars fan. It’s my love of sci-fi and a giant adventure,” Snyder has claimed about the project. “My hope is that this also becomes a massive IP and a universe that can be built out.”
