New Poll on Biden Voters May Raise Some Eyebrows

As Joe Biden works to stay in the White House past January 2025, he and his team are putting all their efforts into his reelection campaign.

Biden’s leaned into issues like abortion, student loan debt, and American democracy as talking points to secure votes. He’s even gone the extra mile of trying to win over disaffected Republicans who supported former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley over Donald Trump during GOP primary races.

Despite Biden’s efforts to win a second White House term, polling indicates that November’s election will be quite close. Many polls have him and Trump virtually tied or only leading the other by a few points.

At the same time, a recent Pew Research poll covering the sentiment of Biden’s voters may shock some Americans.

The president’s own base isn’t that excited about him

In 2020, it was said that Americans were more passionate in voting against Trump than in voting for Biden. Four years later, this same story may ring true.

According to Pew Research, more than six in ten voters currently supporting Biden would remove him and Trump from the ballot, replacing both contenders with new candidates, if given the choice.
