WASHINGTON, D.C. (USA HERALD) — President Donald J. Trump took to Truth Social early Sunday morning to deliver a pointed rebuke of FoxNews and its White House correspondent Peter Doocy for airing what he called a lopsided interview with Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ) on healthcare — without challenge, correction, or context.
“Why is FoxNews and Peter Doocy putting on Democrat Senator Mark Kelly to talk about, totally unabated or challenged, Healthcare?” the President wrote. “The FAKE SPIN is so bad for Republicans that it is hard to believe that we WIN.”
Trump made it clear that the Republican Party’s success cannot hinge on a network that “sucks up the ratings because of us, and then spins them in the Democrats’ direction.”
President Trump underscored that he currently holds a 65% popularity rating — a Republican record — even as networks like Fox News fail to display those results to the public. Instead, Trump accused them of airing “fake” and outdated polls designed to manipulate public opinion.
