A new batch of government records tied to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation has added more prominent names to the list of people who had contact with the late financier, a convicted sex offender whose network of wealthy and politically connected associates has drawn years of public scrutiny.

The documents, released by U.S. authorities, include emails, photographs, travel plans and personal exchanges. Officials stress that being mentioned does not mean a person committed a crime or took part in misconduct. Many individuals cited in the files have denied any wrongdoing.

Elon Musk
Messages show Epstein and the Tesla and SpaceX chief exchanged emails about social plans and possible travel. Musk has said he never visited Epstein’s private island and has rejected any suggestion of involvement in illegal activity.

Bill Gates
Drafted emails attributed to Epstein reference Gates and the Gates Foundation, though their authenticity and whether they were ever sent remain unclear. A spokesperson for Gates dismissed the claims as false and misleading.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor
Photos included in the release show the former British royal with unidentified individuals. The images lack context. He has consistently rejected allegations of wrongdoing.

Richard Branson
Emails show friendly exchanges between Branson and Epstein related to meetings and events. Virgin Group said the contact was limited, largely business-related, and ended after concerns surfaced about Epstein’s past.

A Virgin Group spokesperson said:

“Any contact Richard and Joan Branson had with Epstein took place on only a few occasions more than twelve years ago, and was limited to group or business settings, such as a charity tennis event. When Epstein offered a charity donation, the Bransons asked their team to carry out due diligence before accepting the donation, which uncovered serious allegations. As a result of what the due diligence uncovered, Virgin Unite did not take the donation and Richard and Joan decided not to meet or speak with Epstein again. Had they had the full picture and information, there would have been no contact whatsoever – Richard believes that Epstein’s actions were abhorrent and supports the right to justice for his many victims.”

Sarah Ferguson
Epstein’s correspondence also mentions the Duchess of York. The messages contain casual and personal language but do not indicate criminal conduct.

Lord Mandelson
Bank records and emails suggest financial transfers and meeting arrangements between Epstein and the British politician. Police have opened a review. Mandelson says he regrets ever knowing Epstein and denies any criminal activity.

Steve Bannon
Thousands of texts appear to show discussions about a documentary project focused on Epstein’s life and reputation. Bannon is not accused of participating in wrongdoing.

Miroslav Lajčák
Messages between the former Slovak foreign minister and Epstein included informal remarks. He has stepped down from a current advisory role but faces no criminal charges.

Howard Lutnick
Emails indicate the U.S. commerce secretary once planned a family visit to Epstein’s island. His department said interactions were limited and innocent.

Larry Summers
The former U.S. treasury secretary is referenced in meeting and dinner invitations. Summers has said continuing communication with Epstein was a mistake and has taken responsibility for poor judgment.

Other Names
The release also mentions figures from business, academia and entertainment, including Sergey Brin, Ehud Barak, Noam Chomsky, Steve Tisch, Brett Ratner, Peter Attia, Casey Wasserman, Brad Karp, Bill Clinton and Deepak Chopra. Their appearances largely involve emails, invitations or social contact. None are accused of direct criminal acts in the documents.

Bigger Picture
The latest disclosures aim to add transparency to how Epstein maintained relationships with influential people across politics, finance and culture. Legal experts caution that inclusion in the files reflects association, not proof of misconduct.

More records may be made public as authorities continue to process the investigation materials.
